Bioidentical Hormones

Bioidentical Hormones are Safe! They are made from plant based materials, that our body easily assimilates.  Hormones help every system of our body.  As we age it is the loss of our hormones that cause heart disease, vision changes, weight gain, sleeplessness, energy depletion, hair loss, depression and so many more issues.  This is normally a natural occurring phase of life, and how we phase out of this life.  However, in our world today we go through this phase much earlier due to all the endocrine disruption from technology, food sprayed with herbicides , toxic environment, tainted water supply, and so many other things.  We are aging quicker, and going through that phase of life sooner than we should be, so replacement of hormones is one of the key elements that help prevent disease and enhance our quality of life. 

I have learned that hormone changes are not just happening to those of us who are aging, it is also happening to our young adults and middle aged men and women.  Over 90% of young men and women have signs and symptoms of insulin resistance and hormonal imbalances that are causing acne, weight gain, period changes (women) , even infertility in extreme cases.  There are 4 different versions of PCOS (poly-cystic ovarian syndrome) that are going undiagnosed daily, but the frustration of the signs and symptoms are not being addressed with anything other than birth control, which causes cancer and blood clots down the road.  Bioidentical hormones are a safe way to rebalance our hormones and cause those symptoms to subside. 

Menopause in our aged population is normally not addressed much, not even our OB/GYN doctors are addressing this with us.  They tell us, "it is a phase and we just have to get through it and when your symptoms subside you'll be fine".  This is simply not the case.  Bioidentical hormone replacement is so pertinent to our body's optimal health at any and all ages. In some cases those symptoms don't ever subside, therefore Hormone replacement helps us t live a better life.
